These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the tutoring services provided by Polymath Tuition (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking a lesson, assessment, or programme, you (“the Client” or “Parent/Guardian”) agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Polymath Tuition provides specialist GCSE Mathematics and Science tutoring for students in Years 10 and 11. Services are delivered either in person (within Bedfordshire and surrounding areas) or online (UK-wide), depending on the selected option.
We do not guarantee specific exam grades or score improvements. Outcomes depend on the student’s starting point, attendance, effort, and school support.
2. Bookings and Enrolment

- A free initial assessment may be offered to determine suitability and starting level.
- Programme places are reserved only once a completed booking form and any required deposit or payment have been received.
3. Fees and Payment
- Current fees are published on our website or communicated at the time of booking.
- Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payments are non-refundable except where a session is cancelled by us or as set out in our cancellation policy.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session without charge.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session rate.
- Repeated late cancellations may result in the place being offered to another student.
5. Attendance and Conduct
- Students are expected to arrive on time, prepared with the required materials and completed homework.
- Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in a warning or termination of tutoring without refund.
- We reserve the right to end a session early if safeguarding concerns arise.
